The whole point behind the #WorkOnWriting project is one of learning.
Learning who you are as a writer. Learning who you are as a business individual. As well as learning about what YOU can give to the community.
With any learning process comes mistakes.
I just recently switched full-time jobs to a new grocery store in town. It’s literally right across the street from my old grocery store, but MAN it feels like I’ve traveled across the world! Everything is SO different at Food City, and it’s been a HUGE learning curve. Even with two years of management experience under my belt, I feel like I’m starting from ground zero! Oh! The many mistakes I have made, but you know what, I’ve learned from each one of them.
It’s the same way in your writing. Especially in the #WorkOnWriting project! We’re at ground zero, and we WILL make mistakes. However, we will learn from our mistakes, even MINE, because we all hold each other accountable.
So making mistakes in your writing should NEVER be a hindrance from writing. In fact, it should be an encouragement! How else will you learn how to be a better writer without first overcoming the mistakes?
So don’t give up. Keep on learning, keep on writing. The rewards will be great!
